Bohemian's Guild ボヘミアンズ・ギルド
An antiquarian bookstore with a bright red awning that's been a Jimbocho fixture since 2004, though its parent shop Natsume Shobo dates back to 1920. The ground floor is stacked with books on painting, photography, fashion, architecture, philosophy, and critical theory — with a strong selection in both Japanese and English. Beyond books, they carry cool ephemera: vintage fashion magazines, keychains, and other finds you won't expect.
Upstairs there's a proper gallery with original paintings, sketches, handwritten manuscripts, and calligraphy by literary figures. Everything can be handled and examined. The store is mostly quiet — a few people browsing at any given time. The kind of place that rewards slow browsing and a willingness to get lost in what you find.
Pair it with Komiyama Book Store and Vintage Jinbocho, both within walking distance — you can easily do all three Jinbocho spots in one trip.
