TOKYO FASHION SCOUT

A coffee-by-day, bar-by-night spot with one of the best interiors I've seen in Tokyo. The design is warm but considered — wood, vinyl records, tasteful lighting. They play great music on vinyl throughout the day, and the cakes are genuinely tasty. Located on Daikanyama's famous winding path shopping street, right in the middle of the boutique zone. I've been twice and both times it was nearly empty, which felt like a crime given how good the space is. Opens at noon as a music cafe and transitions to bar mode in the evening. The Nakameguro location is the original — this is the newer branch.
